  1. “Always Above The Clouds” is a piece that deals with the suppression of power. With great power comes great responsibilities! The narrative describes a landscape scene with Kemetic influences expressed through Heru flying above along with a flying pyramid which is a signature element routinely used in my work. My work is deeply influenced by music especially hip hop culture. This piece was inspired by the classic old school rap duo, Gang Starr, truly one of the dopest in the game. Acrylic on wood, 3ft. X 4ft. Currently exhibited at the Tubman Museum in Macon, Georgia. Shout out to Jeff Bruce, curator at the Tubman and the Afro-Futurism Exhibition Riffing On The Reel II.
